The entire New Testament was originally written in Greek. The following interlinear shows the above Greek word as the parallel to “fornication”:

It just doesn’t sound like any old kind of sex out of marriage. It is quite specific to sex for money.

What does “originally meant” mean? Like “originally” when the New Testament was written? What does “literally” mean? Like what it really means? Do the other (not original and not literal) meanings denote a … change? Would anyone consider it a possible corruption in the truth about Jesus? The kind of corruption which degrades a tremendous amount of innocent people, and causes even more to move away from the Church?

Now, it’s more correct, and “makes sense”; because, prostitutes will happily accept marriage simply because marriage is just an organized form of prostitution.
